The I Scontri Figaresi Festival returns to Figari from 9 to 12 September 2026, with 10 concerts taking place in some of the municipality’s most emblematic locations. From Corsican songs and world music to heritage discoveries, enjoy a unique musical experience in Corsica.
From 9 to 12 September 2026, the I Scontri Figaresi Festival celebrates its 5th edition in the heart of Figari, in Southern Corsica.
Organised by the U Scontru association, this unmissable musical event invites audiences on a true sensory journey through Corsican songs, world music and artistic encounters from all over the world. Over four evenings, the festival takes over heritage sites and villages throughout the municipality, offering an experience where heritage, conviviality and emotion come together.
Programme for the 2026 edition
Wednesday 9 September – Figari Church: Fiuminale and Romancero Sefardico.
Thursday 10 September – Uddastreddu: Cuscenza and the Giancarlo Paglialunga Trio.
Friday 11 September – Montilati Chapel: Cuncertini* with Sandrine Luigi, followed by performances by Feli and Bel Air de Forró at Piazza Longa.
Saturday 12 September – Fontana di Subariacciu: Cuncertini* with Bouba Kouyaté, followed by the grand closing evening in Tarabucetta with Vitalba and Yagody.
The Cuncertini, intimate concerts held in remarkable locations, also include a tasting of local products, showcasing the flavours of Corsican cuisine and local traditions.
With 10 concerts across 6 exceptional venues, the I Scontri Figaresi Festival has become one of the major cultural events of the season in Corsica. It is an invitation to discover the villages of Figari, their heritage and their authenticity in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where sharing and music take centre stage.
