The Medieval Festival of Levie: A Journey Back in Time in Alta Rocca

From 4 to 6 September 2026, the village of Levie, in the heart of Alta Rocca, will host the Medieval Festival of Levie for three days celebrating history, heritage and traditions.

Located approximately one hour from Porto-Vecchio, the village will be transformed into a genuine medieval town. Parades, street performances, historical camps, craftsmen, music and activities for children will take place throughout the weekend.

Visitors of all ages can also enjoy the medieval market, discover traditional crafts and take part in various activities in a friendly and family-oriented atmosphere.

Discover Alta Rocca

Your visit to the Medieval Festival is also a wonderful opportunity to discover Alta Rocca, one of the most authentic areas of southern Corsica. Mountain villages, forests, historical heritage and archaeological sites offer a beautiful escape away from the coast.

Near Levie, do not miss the archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula, as well as the Alta Rocca Museum.

Practical information

The 2026 Medieval Festival of Levie will take place from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September, in the village of Levie.

Admission is €5 per person and is free for children under 12, visitors in medieval costume, and people with disabilities and their accompanying person.

Car parks and shuttle buses will be available to make access to the village easier.

The festivities begin on Friday at 6:00 pm, continue throughout Saturday from 10:30 am, and conclude on Sunday with the closing parade at 5:00 pm.
